The Chaos of Light In ancient times, there were ten suns, the sons of the Emperor of Heaven. They lived in a giant mulberry tree in the East, and every day, only one of them would fly across the sky. But one morning, the ten suns decided to go out all at once for fun. The result was a catastrophe. The earth scorched, crops withered, and the rivers turned into steam. Monsters emerged from the shadows to prey on the suffering people. The world was burning under the relentless light of ten suns.
The Divine Archer The Emperor of Heaven saw the tragedy and sent the divine archer, Hou Yi, to help. Hou Yi was a master of the bow, possessing strength that could shake mountains. He first tried to reason with the suns, asking them to return to their tree. But the suns, blinded by their own brilliance, ignored him and continued to burn the world. Realizing that words were not enough, Hou Yi drew his red bow and took aim.
Restoring the Rhythm One by one, Hou Yi shot his arrows of light. Each time an arrow hit its mark, a sun exploded into a burst of golden feathers and fell to the earth as a giant three-legged crow. As the sky grew darker and the air cooler, the people began to cheer. When only one sun remained, Hou Yi prepared his final arrow. But the Emperor stopped him, reminding him that the world still needed one sun to survive. Hou Yi lowered his bow. Balance was restored, and the single sun, now humbled, promised to rise and set in a rhythmic cycle forever.
